Well, my tipping is off to a fine start this week!! The Chiefs blasted the Stormers last night in Hamilton - 29-14 scoring 4 tries along the way. Chiefs' winger Sivivatu scored twice for his team, while the ever so cute Byron Kelleher managed to score a five pointer as did Derek Maisey for the Chiefs. The Stormers who've been going great guns must be disappointed with the result, but hey - you can't win a game of rugby if you don't have the ball :) Nice going Chiefs!

Can't wait until this afternoon's games, but first I have to go and watch an Under 11 game. I'm outta here!

Here I am - cutting it a bit fine this week... and I just KNOW people read this waiting to see who I tip so they can tip the opposite.. heh.. :)

Alrighty here goes nothing - again...
Round 10 Super 12 Rugby tips:-
Tonight - the Chiefs over the Stormers in Hamilton *gulp*
Tomorrow - The Crusaders over the Bulls in Christchurch
The Hurricanes over the Highlanders in Dunedin - don't know about that one either
Brumbies over the Waratahs in Sydney - how funny has the slanging match build up been?
Sharks over the Reds in Durban - sorry Reds :/
and last but not least - Sunday I'm tipping the Cats over the Blues in Jo'Burg. What a brave call!

Enjoy this week's Super 12 games, and for those getting out on the paddock this weekend - have a win!

Well it would seem the good health fairy has waved her magic wand over the Waratahs - Whitaker, Berne, and Dunning are all apparently fighting fit, well at least significantly improved and are looking forward to their clash against the Brumbies this weekend. Good stuff!

The Blues' Carlos Spencer is to have his head examined - literally! The huge tackle he copped in last week's clash against the Stormers has left his coach worried and so Spencer will undergo a barrage of neurological tests. Here's hoping that all turns out well!

I suppose I should start thinking about Super 12 Rugby Round 10 tips.... I still have a day up my sleeve though!

Later!

Just got my tickets for the Wallabies vs England game in Brissie on the 26th June - Yay! Apparently some of the English top players aren't happy with their pay offers for the season's test matches and are threatening strike action. Let's hope it all gets sorted... I'd hate them to be understrength!

Good news for the Reds and the Wallabies - Steve Kefu is going to stay after rejecting an offer from Northampton for big bucks :)

The Tahs continue to have a rough time leading up to their match against the Brumbies this weekend. Matt Dunning has the flu and was quarantined at training yesterday, and Chris Whitaker and Shaun Berne both had injuries troubles during training as well. Here's hoping they get themselves up and fit for Saturday.

Cheers!

The Waratahs 49 finally got their Super 12 act together again to record an 18 point victory over the Hurricanes 31 in Sydney. There was a dodgy period of play from the Tahs after the second half start, but they remained calm and went on to score a total of 7 tries for the match. The Hurricanes collected a bonus point after scoring 4 tries, so both the Tahs and the Canes are still in the hunt.

Over in Jo'burg the Crusaders only just got up over the Cats 39-37 when Daniel Carter kicked a successful last minute penalty goal. The Crusaders had been up 36-6 going into the second half, but the Cats kept on trying and were one point ahead with just five minutes on the clock. Oh boy, what a thriller! The win puts the Crusaders up into 3rd spot on the Super 12 ladder.

The Brumbies sit on the top of the table with 30 points, followed by the Stormers on 28, the Crusaders on 25, and the Sharks on 25 points.

Union fans will no doubt be distressed to hear that Lote Tuqiri is contemplating a return to Rugby League :/ Tuqiri's manager is reportedly setting up meetings with the Broncos.
