I almost forgot - if you want tickets to the Wallabies England clash in Brissie on June 26 - there's still some of the last 2,500 released tickets available (I just checked. You can find them here at ticketek. Wonder if my mate Dave's going to head over for it - would be nice to have a pom to stir :))

Well this weekend there's a couple of rugby tests to watch on the tube - thank heavens!

Tomorrow at 5.30pm (Oz EST) the All Blacks take on the Poms at the 'House of Pain' in Dunedin. The English have a different team from the one that took out the World Cup last year - no Martin J, no Wilko.. but their Captain, Lawrence Dallaglio is apparently quietly confident that they'll whack the Kiwis. I hope the All Blacks thump them!! Get up, get in their faces, and wipe them :)

On Sunday 4pm (Oz real time again) the Wallabies take on the Scots down at Melbourne's Telstra Dome. I have to admit, I like Melbourne, but that pitch is oval shaped for AFL etc... doesn't make for particularly special viewing in real life IMO. Suncorp stadium in Brisbane is far better. Anyway, I digress. Rathbone and Samo are making their test debuts and are in the starting side - congratz guys! I'm looking forward to seeing what Mat Giteau and Rathbone can do - a formidable combo :) Elton Flatley and Stirling Mortlock - both out with injuries will have to watch from the sideline. Meanwhile, the Scots' flyhalf (no.10) is Dan Parks, former Sydney boy. hmmmm...

Anyway, I'm tipping the Kiwis, and the Aussies - lets get back to southern hemisphere dominance :))

Cheers!

I'm suffering post Super 12 Rugby depression....

Don't know why the Reds would want to get rid of Josh Valentine?? Ah, it must be because he's considering heading back south. Don't let him go!

Mark Gerrard meanwhile has a thigh strain that's going to put him out for the Wallaby Scotland clash on Sunday in Melbourne. Guess that cap will have to wait for the next test :/

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the All Blacks this Saturday - let's hope they get stuck into the poms down Dunedin way at the House of Pain.

And, a nice win for the Tahs over Scotland last night 33-15 - nice one boys!

Cheers!
