Wendell Sailor has been ruled out for this Saturday's test against the Pacific Islanders which will take place in Adelaide. Sailor is still suffering from the hamstring injury that saw Clyde Rathbone replace him in last Saturday's game against England in Brisbane. Uh oh Wendell, that's got to be a worry. Clyde Rathbone is such an awesome little player, let's see what he can produce this weekend!!

Sterling Mortlock, who suffered a knee strain in last Saturday's game is thankfully fit to start this weekend. The Pacific Islanders' captain, Inoke Afeaki has been talking up his team in the press, clamining that his team has more heart than the Wallabies. We'll see I guess, but the Wallabies may find it difficult to lift to the level they did against the poms. Bah! I'm going for the Wallabies :)

Andre Watson, the familiar face of international refereeing will hang up his whistle after Saturday's game. Watson, who reminds me of John Cleese, has refereed the last two world cup finals and a swag of games in between. I must say, he's kind of grown on me over the years so I wish him well in retirement!

That's it for a bit - later!

Congratz to the Baby All Blacks who took out the Under 21 world rugby championship beating Ireland 47-19!

I'm not sure what the Baby Wallabies did... but it couldn't have been enough 'cause they got walloped by the Baby Boks 44-10 in the play off for 3rd and 4th place.

What else is going on? It seems that Clive W is taking the blame for his team's shocking tour of NZ and Australia. Good! At least it seems they can be vaguely gracious in defeat if not at ALL in victory!

And, I'm with Eddie Jones for once - don't go Joe Roff!

Well! You gotta love this game rugby :)) The Wallabies thumped the Poms 51-15 at Suncorp stadium in Brisbane last night! Yes!

Wendell Sailor injured his hamstring in the warmup so he was replaced by Clyde Rathbone - what a stroke of fortune for the Wallabies. Rathbone went on to score three tries for the Australians - one of which was awesome as he had to toe the ball twice before leaping on it over the try line.

Stephen Larkham was in brilliant form picking gaps in a cruddy defence line from all over the place, while Joe Roff had a wonderful game! But then, so did Lote Tiquiri.. and Mat Gideau... and Sterling Mortlock. The forwards did a huge amount of work, the only dampener on the night being Brendan Cannon copping a huge hit that sent him into la la land and off the field :/

What a night! What a crowd, and what an atmosphere - thanks guys!!

Hey - check out the new wallpaper for my phone :) I like it!!

I hope those poms are making the most of having 'bill' in their hands.... they haven't won much since the world cup final have they? Too bad so sad!

Grin! Later!
