The APC tournament due to kick off next year has been shifted from the original timeslot to later in the year - September - October. This is good news for club rugby, players can play and aim for a position in the end of season tournament, and also it sets a good platform for Wallaby selection. Good to see some common sense prevailing.

The Reds are officially off to Suncorp next year, and they have confirmed that Queensland Rail is their new sponsor, so there'll be a new jersey. Hopefully this will signal a looooooooooooong awaited swing for the better for the Reds. Will the props be known as the freight trains? The Backs as Travel trains? Who's the Fat Controller then? ehh...

Off to watch the Breakers play Sunnybank at Ballymore tomorrow for the Telstra Premier Rugby Grand Final. Go Breakers!! I hope they play better than they did last week.....
