I set myself up

I couldn't resist sending a pile of text messages to all my closest Kiwi and Welsh mates just before the NZ vs Wales game Sunday morning - 2am kickoff Queensland time. My message went along the lines of 'Red Red Red - Go Wales! Go Australia!'. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but I'm still coping smug return messages from Kiwis. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr :) I have to admit, the All Blacks played quite well, and while I know that Wales was down some good players, they certainly were disappointing.

All Blacks 41 - Wales 3 Ack! My mobile started beeping to let me know I had messages, I should have thrown the damn thing in the pool.

Being a delusional fool I then watched the Wallabies play France and secretly hoped the Wannabes would thump the frogs and give me some good fodder for more text messages. I should have just gone to bed. France 26 - Australia 16 :(

Fabien Pelous, France's captain, will be facing an IRB tribunal tomorrow for elbowing Brendan Cannon during the game. If he's busted he could cop anywhere between 2 weeks and one year's suspension.

Alan Jones and Campo have been having a go at Jones and Gregan again.... wish somebody would listen to them :)
