Round 10 Super 14 Rugby tips 2009

I took a break last week for Easter, but I did get 5/8 for my tips... not so great.

Round 10 already! How sad.

Today:
Friday 17 April 5.35pm
Blues vs Highlanders at Eden Park
I need to start taking some chances here in my tipping if I have any hope of getting ahead of others, so, on the basis that they've been playing well, and I do like them - I am going to tip the Highlanders to beat the Blues tonight. By 2 (not very brave)

Friday 17 April 7.40pm
Brumbies vs Bulls at Canberra Stadium
I'm tipping my beloved Brumbies to have a win over the Bulls. The Canberra boys are hard to beat at home, and I think they'll have enough to get them over the line. By 5

Tomorrow:
Saturday 18 April 3.30pm
Hurricanes v Stormers at Westpac Stadium
Go the Canes! I reckon that they'll be able to beat the Stormers quite comfortably in the shaky isles. I'm tipping the Canes by 6

Reds vs Lions at Suncorp Stadium
Don't ask me why I continue to do it to myself - I'm going to tip the *gulp* Reds. Here's hoping that with the return of Will Genia after his three week ban, that the boys can salvage something on their home ground. Reds by 2

Tahs vs the Force at Aussie Stadium
I'd be silly not to tip the Tahs - here's hoping they get up and have a good win in Sydney over the WA boys. Go the Tahs! By 5

Saturday 18 April 11.00pm
Cheetahs vs Chiefs at ABSA Park
I don't think the home ground will help the Cheetahs all that much - I'm tipping the Chiefs to win by 6

Sharks vs Crusaders at ABSA Stadium
Common sense tells me to tip the Sharks, but hey, I don't always follow common sense rules - so I'm going to tip the Crusaders (just).
